Follow-up consultations are generally once a month for the length or the treatment and last 30 minutes.

When complete resolution of the condition is not possible due to its nature or stage of development, the patient is shown how to manage it, and encouraged to take responsibility for their health and well-being.

The initial consultation cost is between £50 to £75 and follow-up consultations are from £30 to £60. Herbs are approximately £10.00 per week.

Herbal medicine is particularly indicated for:

Gynaecological disorders: irregular menstrual cycles, PMS/PMT, menopause, and it can help with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and low fertility.

Skin conditions: psoriasis and eczema, dermatitis, acne, healing of skin tissue trauma.

Upper respiratory tract disorders: hayfever, asthma, colds and flu.

Mood swings and mild depression.

Lack of energy, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, stress and anxiety, low immunity, post-operative recovery.

The herbal consultation lasts an hour and the practitioner takes a detailed medical history of the patient.

The patient is considered holistically and their emotional, spiritual as well as physical needs are taken into account.

The Medical Herbalist devises a management plan for the condition, including lifestyle advice and often a prescription of herbs (tincture, tea, cream, or capsules, among others).

The herbal remedies used are carefully sourced and selected. The practitioner is trained to avoid any interaction between herbs and the patient’s potential orthodox medication.
